About

I'm Jordan, a Learning Experience Designer based in NYC

I specialize in designing learning environments with rigorous alignment between goals, learning theory, instructional strategies, and purposeful technology use. I studied neuroscience and educational game design, focusing on games and emerging technologies (e.g., AR, VR, biofeedback) for behavior change. In my current position at Fordham, I support faculty through online course design consultations, leading workshops on practical implementation of EdTech, and the development of new instructional tools.

I struggled with formal education as a teenager and with depression as a young adult. Having had to continually seek answers to those problems for myself slowly grew into my central purpose: to improve others' mental health and learning ability through the design of transformative experiences.

HOW I WORK

What I need from you: your subject expertise, the outcomes you actually care about, and the real constraints. Time, tools, and what has already been tried.

How I design: I follow design thinking (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test) and deepen parts of it with learning science. In Define, that means backward design: we agree on the outcomes and how they will be assessed before any activity is chosen.

How we work together: Agile. A lo-fi prototype reaches you as early as I can make one, you review it, and we improve it in quick loops. Every project has a timeline and named handoffs, from discovery to delivery, so you always know what is with me and what is with you.

MUSIC

Music is my outlet to tell a story, to express emotions, and to find flow.
